The 2-gang floor box with brass cover plate, suitable for wood structured and raised access floors, accepts duplex receptacles, data, A/V and most devices that fit standard wallplates.
The floor box has two opposed compartments, allowing the installation of power on one side and low voltage on the other side of the box. The 3 1/8” (height) is ideal for installation in low profile raised access and wood structured floors.
The 16 GA galvanized steel is powder coated in grey to provide an aesthetic look and add an additional layer of protection against corrosion.
5 knockouts on each compartment for 1/2" and 3/4”conduits installation. Knockouts areas are free of paint to assure a proper bonding and make the installation easier.
Two clips, one on each side of the box, adjust the box to different floor thicknesses.
Manufactured in compliance with the UL 514A standard and UL Listed for use in USA and Canada.
The Brass cover features two cable exits, handle and a beveled flange which prevents trip hazard, hides the edges of hard surface flooring and prevents carpet from fraying. A discreet and retractable handle facilitates the opening of the door to access the interior of the box. While the door is open, the two cable exits can be tilted to the open position to permit the cables coming out of the box and protect them once the cover is closed.
Cover is ADA compliant.

Brass
Thought this was some sort of bronze alloy, but it is a solid brass cover. Pleased with the purchase.
