6-gang floor box with stainless steel cover - C46SFN

The C46SFN is a 6-gang floor box designed to satisfy the most demanding needs of your projects. Installing large quantities of low voltage connectors and power outlets in a single box has never been easier.

The floor box can be configured to accept six, seven or eight gang of capacity. The six gang configuration accepts (1) two gang wallplate and (1) one gang wallplate per side.

The Stainless Steel cover with a brushed finish has straight / square edges providing a flush finish with the final floor.

A discreet and retractable handle facilitates the opening of the covers door, which grants access to the interior of the floor box. While the door is open two cable exits, located along one side of the cover, can be tilted and when closing the door the cable exits will rest on the sub frame of the cover.

Both cable exits have rubber foam to prevent the friction and safeguard the cables coming out from the box.

Four holes in the interior corners are used to attach the cover to the floor box and it also makes it easier to adjust the cover to the final floor level.

Installation must be done in interior dry locations. Perfect for slab on grade and concrete floors where the there is a controlled environment to prevent the accumulation of scrub water.

We supply removable barriers for the box to facilitate the access to other compartments. These barriers will allow the combination of power and low voltage on the same compartment.

 

• The 16 GA galvanized steel is powder coated in grey adding protection against corrosion, reinforcing the structure of the box and its efficiency.
• Low profile floors will no longer be a problem with its 3 1/8” depth.
• 8 knock outs on each compartment (16 total) for up to 1”conduits installation.
• Knockouts areas are free of paint to assure a proper bonding and make the installation easier.
• Retrofit applications are no longer a problem with its removable leveling bars.
