The R48SRN is an 8-gang floor box designed to satisfy the most demanding needs of your projects. Installing large quantities of low voltage connectors and power outlets in a single box has never been easier.
The 8-gang floor box configuration accepts (1) 4-gang wallplate per side.
The Stainless Steel cover with a brushed finish has straight / square edges to provide a flush finish with the final floor (see installation instructions for further details). A recessed surface of 7/16”depth in the center of the cover allows the insert of a piece of the floor covering material (carpet, tile terrazzo, etc.).
The floor box cover also features two cable guards that protect and reduce risk of damage to all incoming and outgoing cables.

Box features
16 GA powder coated galvanized steel.
6 knock outs on each compartment (12 total) for up to 1”conduits installation. Knockouts areas are free of paint to assure a proper bonding and make the installation easier.
Two clips, one on each side of the box, adjust the box to different floor thicknesses.
Manufactured in compliance with the UL standards and listed with the UL514A.
Removable Barriers The floor box and covers are suitable for installation in raised floor and UL listed for that application.
