The recessed floor box C01PFN is supplied with a painted Black steel flat cover. It is ideal to bring power or low voltage jacks where only a duplex receptacle or few low voltage jacks are needed. Suitable for concrete floors and slab on grade applications where there is no scrub water accumulation.
Most of one gang boxes available in the market are installed so that power plugs protrude from the floor when in use. Receptacles installed into the C01 floor box are recessed providing an unobtrusive and safe access to outlets.
Since this is a one gang floor box, power and low voltage connectors cannot be combined in the box. A standard duplex receptacle or a GFCI receptacle can be used for power. If the box is needed for data or other low voltage connectors, a decora insert with up to six ports for keystones jacks (HDMI, RJ45, RJ11, USB, etc.) can be installed.
The box is made of 16 GA galvanized steel, powder coated to ensure durability and reliability. The powder coating layer adds additional strength and resistance to rust.
The solid steel powder coated painted Black cover has a fine brushed finish and straight edges providing a flush finish with the final floor level. The cover can also rests on top of the finishing floor. Straight edge covers are ADA compliance 3/16” thick.
The cover features a cable exit with a retractable handle and foam to prevent dust from entering the box.
It has six knock-out for 3/4" and 1" conduits.
