Floor box for concrete floor - Stainless steel cover

The C2XSRB is a versatile and functional floor box for concrete floors. Its unique design and faceplates allow this box to be configurable from two gang to six gang using our FITIN modular system.

The box allows combining power and low voltage in the same side of the box using a removable barrier to separate circuits  (barrier sold separately). It is also possible to have power on one side and low voltage on the opposite side. A wide variety of power and low voltage connectors  can be installed inside this floor box with our FIT-IN modular system which optimizes the box capacity to equal a six gang box.

Built in tunnels ensure a proper and easy wiring from one compartment to another.

Installation must be done in interior dry locations. Perfect for slab on grade and concrete floors where the there is a controlled environment to prevent the accumulation of scrub water.

• The 16 GA galvanized steel is powder coated to offer a professional look and add an extra layer of protection against corrosion.
• Low profile box 3 5/16” depth.
• 8 knock outs on each compartment (16 total) for up to 1”conduits installation.
• Knockouts areas are free of paint to ensure a proper bonding and make the installation easier.
• Retrofit applications are no longer a problem with its removable leveling bars.
• Easy wiring from one compartment to another with 2 built in tunnels.
• Barriers can be removed if there is no need to separate circuits.
• Four non visible screw holes in the interior corners are used to attach the cover to the floor box and it also makes it easier to adjust the cover to the final floor level.

Cover

• Solid stainless steel with a fine brushed finish, recessed top to accept a piece of the floor covering material  and beveled edges.
• Recessed space of 7/16”depth for terrazzo, carpet, tile, etc.
• Retractable handle.
• Two cable exits with rubber foam.
• Easy to adjust to the final floor level.
