The R2XSRN is a versatile, functional and cost-effective raised floor box. Its unique design and faceplates allow this box to be configurable from two gang to six gang while preserving its size.
A wide variety of power (standard duplex, GFCI, etc.) and low voltage connectors (HDMI, VGA, RJ45, RJ11, XLR, USB, etc.) can be installed inside this floor box with faceplates or our exclusive FIT-IN modular system. Its large compartment allows the combination of power and low voltage with a service divider (sold separately). It is also possible to have power on one side and low voltage on the opposite side.
Built in tunnels ensures a proper and easy wiring from one compartment to the opposed one.
Its 3 5/16” of height positions this box into the ultra-low box category making it easier to install in low profiles floors. The 16 GA galvanized steel is powder coated to add an extra layer of protection against corrosion and provide an aesthetic and professional look.
8 knock outs on each compartment (16 total) for up to 1”conduits installation. Knockouts areas are free of paint to assure a proper bonding and make the installation easier.
Two clips, one on each side of the box, adjust the box to different floor thicknesses.
Manufactured in compliance with the UL standards and UL Listed UL514A.
Barriers can be removed if there is no need to separate circuits.
The Stainless Steel cover has straight / square edges providing a flush finish with the final floor. A recessed surface (7/16”depth) in the center of the cover allows the insert of a piece of the floor covering material (carpet, tile, terrazzo, etc.).
A discreet and retractable handle facilitates the opening of the covers, which grants access to the interior of the floor box. While the door is open two cable exits, located along one side of the cover, can be tilted so when closing the cover the cable exits remain open to protect outgoing cables.
Both cable exits have rubber foam to safeguard the cables coming out from the box.
