The R48 eight gang floor box is the perfect solution for projects requiring a large quantity of power outlets, data and AV connectors in just one box.
This box accepts two four gang wallplates (one on each side).
Removable barriers (supplied) permit to isolate the three gang side to separate the one and two gang compartments.
The floor box cover is made of solid steel with provision of a recessed surface for the floor covering material. The recessed space is 7/16” to accept the installation of carpet, tile etc.
The floor box cover also features two cable guards that protect and reduce risk of damage to all incoming and outgoing cables.
Retractable handle.
The floor box and covers are suitable for installation in raised floor and UL listed for that application.
Box features
16 GA powder coated galvanized steel.
6 knock outs on each compartment (12 total) for up to 1”conduits installation. Knockouts areas are free of paint to assure a proper bonding and make the installation easier.
Two clips, one on each side of the box, adjust the box to different floor thicknesses.
Manufactured in compliance with the UL standards and listed with the UL514A.
Barriers can be removed if there is no need to separate circuits.
