The R48SRB is an 8-gang floor box designed to fit a wide variety of power, data and AV jacks. Installing large quantities of outlets in a single box has never been easier.
The 8-gang configuration accepts (1) 4-gang wallplate per side.
The Stainless Steel cover with a brushed finish has straight / square edges to provide a modern look (ADA Compliant). The cover is provided with a recessed surface for the floor covering material. The recessed space is 7/16” deep to accept the installation of carpet, tile etc.
Box features
16 GA powder coated galvanized steel.
6 knock outs on each compartment (12 total) for up to 1”conduits installation. Knockouts areas are free of paint to assure a proper bonding and make the installation easier.
Two clips, one on each side of the box, adjust the box to different floor thicknesses.
Manufactured in compliance with the UL standards and listed with the UL514A.
Removable Barriers The floor box and covers are suitable for installation in raised floor and UL listed for that application.
