Raised floor box with metallic cover (Recessed - Beveled) KIT R2XSRB

The raised floor box accepts a wide range of metal covers designed to match any decor style or floor covering material. This particular unit (R2XSRB) is supplied with a brushed stainless steel cover. Its unique design and faceplates allow this box to be configured from two to six gang without the need of a bigger box.

A wide variety of power (standard duplex, GFCI, etc.) and low voltage connectors (HDMI, VGA, RJ45, RJ11, XLR, USB, etc.) can be installed inside this floor box, which can be combined on the same side using barriers or installed on opposite sides. It also accepts our FIT-IN modular system which optimizes and expand the box capacity and permits to install up to 12 power outlets in the same box.

The 16 GA galvanized steel is powder coated to add an extra layer of protection against corrosion and provide an aesthetic and professional look.

Low profile floors will no longer be a problem thanks to its 3 5/16” height.

8 knockouts on each compartment (16 total) for up to 1”conduits installation. Knockouts areas are free of paint to assure a proper bonding and facilitate the installation process.

Two clips, one on each side of the box, adjust the box to different floor thicknesses.

Built in tunnels facilitate the wiring related jobs allowing to easily feed/wire from one compartment to the opposed one.

The Stainless Steel cover has beveled edges which hides the edges of hard surface flooring and prevents trip hazard.

A discreet and retractable handle facilitates the opening of the cover granting access to the interior of the box. Two cable exits, located along one side of the cover, can be tilted to protect outgoing cables.

A recessed space on the top cover permits to install a piece of the floor covering material up to 7/16" thick.
