The BC4SRBLB is a solid Stainless Steel cover with a brushed finish for our FBSJB3C, FBSJB3R FBSJB4C and FBSJB4R junction boxes and R34, R4X, C3X and C4X floor boxes. The cover has a beveled flange which prevents any tripping hazard, hides the edges of hard surface flooring and prevents ware of carpeted floors. A recessed surface of 7/16”depth in the center of the cover allows the insert of a piece of the floor covering material (carpet, tile terrazzo, etc.).
A discrete locking screw grants and at the same time prevents the access to the interior of the box. While the door is closed opening it will be impossible without a special tool. This ensures the safety of the user and that unauthorized personnel has no access to the cables.
Four holes in the interior corners are used to attach the cover to the floor box and it also makes it easier to adjust the cover to the final floor level.
