The FBS wood floor box permits to install a wide variety connectors such as standard duplex outlets, decorative style inserts, keystone style jacks as well as our exclusive Fit-IN system which optimizes the space accepting 12 modules for line and low voltage. The box provides a great solution for installation in subfloor or carpeted floors.
Power, data, audio and video can be easily installed with the FBS faceplates (sold separately). The combination of power and low voltage on the same compartment can be achieved by installing a barrier (sold separately).
The WFB244A can be upgraded with our FIT-IN system which will allow to install up to 12 receptacles (power only) or 24 keystones jacks (low voltage only). Line power and low voltage can be combined with the usage of the specific FIT-IN service divider.
The lid can be rotated for easy outgoing cables orientation. Two cable guards protect cables and reduce risk of damage to all incoming and outgoing cables.
A recessed space - 7/16" - allows to insert a piece of floor covering material providing a smooth, seamless look. The low profile box - 3 5/16" depth- is the ideal solution for raised floor applications.
